Premium Cornish Cocktails Through Your Letterbox!

This cocktail couldnt be more british if it tried, created in the 1980s originally designed as a spring cocktail our version uses Tarquins Cornish Blackberry and wildflower honey Gin, honey from just up the road in Polzeath and homemade Blackberry liqueur. This is a drink suitable for all occasions and seasons.

This cheeky tiki cocktail originated in the famous Trader Vics bar in the 1940s and we think after many other versions have been adapted and trying to claim the title from bars all over the globe, we seem to think this is the absolute best version there is. An often overlooked and underrated tipple. We blend together our Cornish white rum together with our 9year old Barrel aged rum with homemade orgeat (almond syrup)

Its difficult to sip this drink and not think of warm sand between your toes and salty sea spray in the air. And our version is no exception! The best quality white Cornish rum meets locally grown mint, bitters and a little sugar. Liquid sunshine!

Three ingredients, Gin, Amaro, Sweet vermouth. Once all are stirred down with an orange slice in a perfect setting...Its just: it sets you up for dinner, in a way that makes you hungry, sands the edges off the afternoon. In an after dinner, its settling. It is both aperitif and digestive. Its a rare drink that can do that. Bitterly magic in our opinion.

20%ABV 125ml

This drinks history has strong links to the navy when lime cordial was added to the daily Gin tot for sailors avoiding the ravages of scurvy on long voyages. Nowadays gimlets are a classier affair, we use Tarquins Cornish rhubarb and raspberry gin and homemade orange & rhubarb cordial. A wonderful mid-afternoon ice cold pick me up!

Our delicious (if we do say ourselves!) Cornish barrel aged 9 year old Rum is stirred down with bitters, sugar and orange oil. Such a serious cocktail needs serious tasting notes:

• Nose-Sweet, toffee, vanilla, spices, oak orange oil, hints of smoke.
• Palate: Cocoa, caramel, prunes, spices, vanilla. 
• Finish: Long, sublimely smooth, hints of smoke on the tail.

Best enjoyed with a slice of high % dark bitter chocolate, or a cigar if you're into that kind of thing!
